SmartVitiNet Competence Centre for Precision Viticulture

SmartVitiNet is revolutionising European viticulture with the establishment of a Competence Centre for Precision Viticulture.

The Competence Centre is a transnational innovation and coordination hub. In the Competence Centre, you can:

  • Explore resources on regulations and recent articles about smart technologies.

  • Book 1:1 consultancy sessions on five specialised subjects offered by project partners.

  • Stay updated on events and drone demonstrations in vineyards through the News section.

  • Connect with a European network of professionals for interdisciplinary collaboration in the viticulture sector.

The Competence Centre fosters excellence, innovation, and sustainability by uniting viticulturists, technology providers, researchers, and business specialists. Through hands-on implementation, we bridge international expertise with practical solutions tailored to the challenges of modern viticulture.The Competence Centre supports the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to address key challenges like pesticide management, water stress, and sustainable growth. By optimising natural resource use, these tools empower producers to enhance wine quality while maintaining a competitive edge.

SmartVitiNet Training Portal

The SmartVitiNet Training Portal is an advanced, user-friendly digital platform designed to support informed decision-making in viticulture.

 

Users can interact with the system through a web interface to send and receive data and information for their vineyards and areas of interest. Built with a focus on ethics, and sustainability, the SmartVitiNet portal ensures secure, near real-time access to actionable insights, driving innovation, productivity, and resilience in the European wine sector.
